Celebrity burlesque performer/model/lingerie designer/overall beauty queen Dita Von Teese and voluptuous movie star Scarlett Johansson make up quite a lot of my fantasies, it’s true. Thanks to these fantastically sexy photos, now those fantasies will be threesomes including both, not just one at a time.

If you’ve never seen any of Dita’s fetish movies, our theater has them on demand and some of them you can download to own.

Are you a college student? Does your student newspaper have a sex column? If so, your paper is part of a growing trend. I won’t give away how long ago I was in school, but let’s just say any of us who dared to write about sex for our student newspaper would’ve been fired from the student media organization. The Nation has a good article about the increasing popularity of student sex columns in college newspapers. An excerpt:

The attraction of a sex column is simple: most college students– honestly, most people past puberty, period–are either a) having sex; b) talking about having sex; or c) all of the above. Entertainment is usually a key reason behind the publication of sex columns, but the writing is not all about fun. These controversial pieces have proved battlegrounds for the rights of the student press and “appropriate” subjects for publication (ironically, only increasing their popularity and fueling the movement).

Adult film legend Ron Jeremy could be headed for prime-time major-network television.

Jeremy, who was born Ron Jeremy Hyatt, has starred in such films as “Pornstar: The Legend of Ron Jeremy” and “Terms of Endowment.” In July, ABC contacted him about starring in his own reality show.

“I was contacted by ABC about a month ago, and they were interested in doing a reality show with Ron, where they wanted to explore his other side,” said Steve Banan, Jeremy’s publicist. “For example, people did not know that the man has two master’s degrees and was a teacher of the mentally handicapped for eight years.”

A native of Queens’s Flushing area, Jeremy graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo High School and earned a master’s degree in special education from Queens College. He then became a special education teacher in the New York public school system.

Jeremy achieved notoriety after his then-girlfriend sent in a nude photo of him to Playgirl magazine. Playgirl published the photo as part of a 1978 “Boy Next Door” feature. After being contacted by several adult film producers, Jeremy dropped the “Hyatt” from his name and launched his career in the porn industry.

In an industry in which Jews often have run the show off camera, Jeremy is arguably the most famous Jewish on-screen talent. Though he’s not religious, he has said that he wants to get married in a synagogue and raise Jewish children. According to the Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles, he came home from elementary school one day and insisted on receiving a Hebrew education after being told by classmates that he couldn’t be Jewish without a bar mitzvah.

Though Jeremy achieved legendary status in the porn industry quickly, the process of breaking into the mainstream entertainment culture has been slow but gradual.

The first step came in 2003, when he logged a stint as a regular on the second season of “The Surreal Life,” a reality show that features about a half-dozen C-list celebrities living together in a house. But with the feelers from ABC, which is owned by Disney, his big break could be coming soon.

“As far as adult film talent crossing over to mainstream culture,” Banan said, “it really hasn’t happened yet, but if it does, it should be Ron.”

Twilight Gets the Porn Treatment

Finally, we’ll get to see Edward Cullen and Bella Swan get it on and do the nasty!

Sort of.

Examiner reports that everyone’s favorite vampire saga, Twilight, is getting the porn treatment. Frankly, we’re surprised it took this long.

This Isn’t Twilight: The XXX Parody will be released by Devil’s Film on October 20, presumably to ride the wave of anticipation for the November 20 release of Twilight sequel New Moon.

Filling the role of Bella Swan will be Jenna Haze, who in addition to winning Female Performer of the Year at the 2009 AVN Awards has starred in such adult fare as Spunk’d 6, Load Warriors and This Ain’t the Munsters XXX.

Sounds hot enough to raise the dead. Well, at least certain parts of them, anyway.

Let us know in the comments section: Who else would you like to see fill out the rest of the cast for This Isn’t Twilight: The XXX Parody?

What do you think? I’ve been to a few burlesque shows and it always seemed there were more women there than men. I think that a lot of women embrace burlesque as an art form and a means of self-liberation. One burlesque troupe in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada agrees.

With their flirty red-lipped smirks, the women of all sizes in Edmonton’s Capital City Burlesque troupe exude a contagious confidence.

“Girls come in as meek, mild, little lambs. They spend a year with us, and they find their inner burlesque goddess,” said Donna Ball, the group’s co-founder and a performer.

Although the troupe members agree the group has done wonders for their self-esteem, the style of dance has stirred debate about what burlesque is.

Kim Rackel, co-founder and member, says it’s not pornography, rather an art form.

“It’s all about the tease and the alluding to being more naked than we actually are” said Rackel, 32, during the troupe’s practice at The Artery, 9535 Jasper Ave., earlier this week.

The performers, aged 21 to 32, wear nipple concealers “to keep it PG and keep it more on the naughty side than the nasty side,” said Ball, 28, a receptionist by day.

But it’s too raunchy for some.

The parent of one group member, who has yet to attend a show, fumed when she found out her daughter was a burlesque dancer, Amelia Aspen said.

Aspen’s mother even offered her a free trip to the U.K. if she quit performing.

“She’s a liberal, academic, super-feminist,” said the 30-year-old.

“I’m not going to England. I’m doing burlesque. It makes me happier than anything. I had huge body issues and I’ve never felt better about myself.”

Good for her! I have friends who do burlesque and I’d say they’re some of the most kick-ass women I know. Click here to read the full article and see photos of the girls in the article.

Buy, Contortions

It all started innocently enough with a book called Eros vinyls, put together by Mathieu Flory.

His book presents a collection of 400 LP record covers whose unifying theme is the “erotic”. This was all Paris’s Erotica Museum needed to select 120 covers, pop them on one floor of its multi-storey building and invite visitors to look back at how record-sleeve artists have worked with the idea of eroticism over the last six decades.

The whole thing is organised into musical genres – French, Jazz’n’Blues, Cabaret, Rap & Hip-Hop etc. – but also into what curator Alain Plumey calls “topics”. A topic, it seems, can be anything from “Stockings” to “Tie Me Up”.

The tasteometer plunges right down with many of the covers, which can involve women drenched in honey, or toting automatic weapons. As they do. You’re left wondering what people thought they were designing, particularly in the 1970s. But you are often forced to acknowledge their ingenuity.

The exhibition lives up to its promise to move through all the decades and includes covers from artists like Julie London, Betty Page, Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin. Hard-core rap could hardly be left out (and who better than 2 Live Crew?) but the collection is sufficiently well-balanced that they’re the sole representative and a few steps away you’re examining the sleeve for a recording of Offenbach’s Vie Parisienne.

One visitor at the exhibition says that it’s only when you see the albums collected in this way that you think of them as deliberately erotic. “I was surprised to see them because I really didn’t perceive most of them as erotic or overly sexual,” the young woman says. “I just think it’s marketing and promotion and selling something. But it was interesting”. Visitors to the exhibition, says Plumey, tend to be young. This is not for want of risqué pictures, but because of the newfound interest in vinyl LPs.

Assembling a collection like this is much easier than it used to be, says Plumey, since you can find anything on the internet. A copy of the Village People’s 1979 Sleazy or Ice-T’s 1988 Power is probably out there somewhere on the web – for a price.

There’s always that elusive album-sleeve however, and Plumey searches for the name of the one he wasn’t able to hang in the exhibit. “Jimi Hendrix with nude girls,” he says. “It’s one cover, famous one, really rare and expensive”.

This then would be the scandal-starting, epoch-making Electric Ladyland and while Hendrix might not be on the wall of the exhibit, plenty of other big names are.

If it’s too early in the day to navigate the Erotica Museum, you can take yourself off to 25 years of the Mac at Paris’s Computer Museum.

North Carolina native Sabrina Luna began writing erotica in the late 1990s, before the erotic romance genre hit it big with readers. Sabina’s writing is always changing and improving. She writes all kinds of stories but has found much success writing paranormal erotic romance.

You can find her stories on such publishers’ websites as Whiskey Creek,  Phaze,  Aspen Mountain Press ,  Amira Press and also various other e-publishers online.

Sabrina enjoys honing her craft and testing the limits to her imagination. When I asked about her writing paranormal erotic romance she explained what she likes the most about this kind of writing is being able to bend the rules of traditional love stories and make the ordinary extra-ordinary. Fortunately for her readers she does this very well.

Besides being a full time author, Sabrina is also a professional psychic reader and certified life coach.

Sabrina currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. When she’s not writing you can find her in bookstores, or watching entertaining movies & DVDs. She also boast of being a creative coffee drinker who loves to meet her friends for coffee.

Check out the interview below to learn more about her…

N.B: I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for interviewing with me. Can you tell our readers about your background and how did you become an erotic author?

Sabrina Luna: Oh, you’re welcome! I’m a creative coffee drinker, an author, certified life coach and professional psychic reader.

I began writing erotica in the late 1990s, before the erotic romance genre had hit it big with readers. I enjoyed (and still do) reading erotica and erotic romance. I began to write erotic poems, which led to short stories and novellas.

N.B: What was the name of the first story that you wrote and what was it about?

Sabrina Luna: Hmm …that’s a tough one. I remember the first story I submitted to an online contest. I won first place in its category (erotic romance) and that’s when I decided to submit my writings for publication. It was a story set in Egypt in the 1930s about a sexy archeologist and his smart assistant who become erotically “enchanted” while digging up an ancient temple.

N. B: How would you describe your writing style? And what can our readers expect from your work?

Sabrina Luna: Well, I learn a lot about the craft of writing with each story I write, so I believe my style is continuously changing and improving. I love stories which are adventurous, humorous and sexy. I hope readers will enjoy reading my stories as much as I do writing them!

N.B: What is it that you like about paranormal erotic romance as compared to traditional erotic romance stories?

Sabrina Luna: To me, paranormal erotic romances bend the rules of traditional love stories and make the ordinary extra-ordinary. I enjoy reading them as well as writing them!

N.B: What projects are you currently working on?

Sabrina Luna: Well, I’ve currently submitted a short story for Halloween to one of my e-publishers, which is a paranormal erotic romance. I’ve also been promoting and teaching classes in psychic development based on my non-fiction book, MAGICKAL INTUITION, which is currently available in ebook and print. And, I’m busy plotting and planning my next round of writing projects.

N.B:  If you could be any of the characters you’ve wrote about so far which would it be? And why?

Sabrina Luna: LOL! Well, let’s say I’d like to be any of my heroines (and a couple of heroes), because the male leads in my stories are certainly wonderful, sexy men with hearts of gold!

N.B: Do you imagine your characters first then write the story or write the story first then let the characters flow?

Sabrina Luna: Oh, tough question! I usually start with (believe it or not) a title and genre, then it progresses to a story idea. As the story idea grows, the right characters begin to appear …and then they take over.

N.B: I understand that besides being a best selling author you are also a professional psychic reader and tarot reader. Do you believe that tarot reading helps you with writing your characters? If so how?

Sabrina Luna: Definitely! The major cards of the Tarot deck are based on archetypes, which are the building blocks of storytelling. The Tarot helps give me ideas on how to develop the basis of my characters, and then creativity kicks in and helps to flesh out them out.

N.B: When you’re not writing, what type of things do you like to do?

Sabrina Luna: I love to meet friends for coffee, haunt bookstores and watch entertaining movies & DVDs. I also love attending Sci-Fi Fantasy conventions and meeting others who share similar interests.

N.B: You are a full time author living in the Carolinas. Are you from the area? If not, why have you made the Carolinas your home?

Sabrina Luna: I’m a Carolina gal –born and raised.

N.B: Where would you like to see your writing career in the next five years or so?

Sabrina Luna: In the next five years, I plan to explore a few more genres in fiction, plus continue to write and teach in areas like psychic development. So, yes, I plan to stay busy!

For more info: read more about Sabrina Luna on her website.

Cheeks and Adam Lambert

LOS ANGELES—Fans of American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert are not about to let Tom Jones’ followers outdo them. Rather than throwing boring old panties on the stage during the singer’s summer tour, they have taken to tossing sex toys.

“It’s going further, and somebody threw on stage a red-leather tasseled whip and then the next night, I got one that was made out of, like, purple fur. It’s getting really S&M,” he told E! Online. “I got some glow-in-the-dark handcuffs. It’s really getting creative. It’s exciting. I think they really want me to play with these toys during the number.”

CNN’s just reprinted an article for OPRAH.com about the porn viewing habits of women. With adult films specifically for ladies becoming more common, it’s still a little bit of a surprise to see CNN and Oprah talking about it. As it happens more and more, though, maybe more women will become less squeamish. As that happens, the porn will get better and maybe less cliched. (It’s a well-known fact that guys will jerk off to things that we girls will just find laughable, because women are more discriminating about erotic stimulation.) Studios like Sweet Sinner will hopefully become more common and produce smut for ladies to get off to instead of laughing at. And hey, even the male XXX performers are getting hotter… just look at James Deen, AVN’s Male Performer of the Year, or Alan Stafford. I say the more mainstream attention porn gets, the better it is for those of us who already love it!

Porn star Satine Phoenix has a personal message for you. Well, you and 2,779 other people.

“I’m going for wild ’70s bush,” she declared to her many Twitter fans one evening not too long ago. She was making merkins — pubic wigs.

In a word: hot.

Jiggly Poof, meanwhile, was “snuggling with my teddies in bed.” And over in Miami, Sinnamon Love [Twitter link] was getting ready for her second tattoo of the day: “Want to watch me live???”

These porn stars have plenty of company. Porn people of all types — directors, stars, producers, and webmasters — are using Twitter to communicate with fans.

It’s a powerful form of media with huge potential for outreach. “How often can a person write something, post a picture, or ask a question and receive a handful, a dozen, or hundreds of thousands of responses in minutes?” asks Ari Herzog, an online media strategist. “The adult entertainment industry is no different than any other industry: The purpose of business is to sell something. If a Twitterer can reach just one person, and that one person can tell others, then that’s a virus you want.”

But does everyone really need to know if a famous star is having a ham sandwich for lunch? Do online users want to get hourly updates — the director’s cut of Shaving Ryan’s Privates is now online! — or just hear from you once or twice a day?

Good questions. And we’ve got some good answers.

First, some basics.

Twitter is a social networking service, which puts it in the same category as Facebook, LinkedIn, and MySpace. But it’s different, and you’d be smart to understand its special potential and limitations.

Here’s how it works. You sign up and then start sending out “tweets” — short messages with no more than 140 characters. Unless you “lock” your account, anyone can visit the Twitter website and read your tweet; some people will choose to “follow” you so they get your messages automatically. You can also “follow” other people.

So what should you say in these messages?

Here are some no-no’s: Don’t spam people with tons of links. Don’t tell them boring details about your lives (unless they’re sexy). And don’t treat all of Twitterworld as one giant gob of people instead of many individuals with individual needs.

“If you want to be successful you will need to get to know your followers on a more personal level, respond to their replies and direct messages with personal messages,” said Peter Housley, CEO of Naughty Tweet LLC. “The stars that are really making this work spend hours a day actually communicating with their followers, not just sending out messages like, ‘I’m on Cam RIGHT NOW’ or ‘I’ll be Feature Dancing at XXX Club Tonite.’”

Marie Luv [Twitter link], Belladonna [Twitter link], and Jayla Starr [Twitter link] are examples of stars who tweet hundreds of times a day with sincere quotes and photos, Housley said. (Yes, you can post photos through a service called Twitpic.)

click me! Click me! click me!

Porn star Stoya [Twitter link] told a social media consultant in an interview that, “Since ‘fans’ find me on these social networking sites and talk to me, I talk back. It would be rude not to.”

And what about webmasters? What should they do with Twitter?

Housley said webmasters operating solo-girl sites should get the girls on Twitter. “Big network sites need to find unique ways to provide user interaction through Twitter. We’ve seen some interesting attempts so far like Pink Visual tweeting during a shoot, but I think there is a lot of room yet to go.”

Lisa Weinberger, CEO of the online marketing firm Pearly Writes, said webmasters should be careful about spamming Twitter followers with constant links.

“If you are coming to Twitter to grow your network and drive traffic to your site or blog, you need to make connections, and yes, making connections takes time,” she said. “You can create a community of specific followers and market your tweets toward your community, but the biggest thing is interact. Just tweeting ‘noise’ will get you nowhere.”

Another bit of advice, courtesy of Housley: “Don’t fall for the ‘We’ll get you 10,000 followers in 10 days’ schemes. They don’t work.”

If you jump on the Twitter train, check out the various types of software that are available, many of them for free. Some of the experts interviewed for this story recommended Tweetdeck, and it’s my personal favorite. It helps you broadcast tweets and track incoming messages while also keeping an eye on Facebook; you can even send messages to both Facebook and Twitter at once.

If you follow hundreds or thousands of people, Tweetdeck can help you create “groups” of people you actually care about, meaning you don’t have to read all the messages from everyone else.

Other recommended Twitter tools include Twhirl, HootSuite, and Twellow, along with Splitweet, Monniter, and TweetLater. Sites like yfrog.can host your photos.

You can also find Twitter programs for iPhones and Blackberries.

Can’t read her poker face, but she might want to take a ride on your disco stick. Here’s Lady Gaga half-naked! It’s always interesting to see celebrities without their clothes, so when I found this I knew some of you out there might be curious. She has a great body, don’t you think? It must be all that dancing. She’s really tiny but her boobs sure are a good size. Nice ink, Lady Gaga!

The box cover for the new release, “Scrubs: A XXX Parody,” starring ladies’ catnip James Deen. Your faithful correspondent enjoys porn spoofs more than she enjoys regular porn, which perhaps is an answer to the question this article poses: Who watches porn parodies? Maybe it’s women who are obsessed with pop culture!

From www.variety.com – There’s an old adage that the Internet boom was driven by “Star Trek” and porn. Just imagine the possibilities, then, from simultaneously delivering “Star Trek” with porn.

Over the last year, Hustler Video Group has without much fanfare trotted out a parade of titles derived from classic TV shows, including the recently released parody “This Ain’t Star Trek XXX.”

All the meticulous little details are there, with the exception of moments (spoiler alert!) like the one where Kirk, Spock and Uhura engage in three-way stress-relieving exercise on the bridge, which for whatever reason wasn’t included in J.J. Abrams’ franchise reboot.

Other programs immortalized under the “This Ain’t …” and “Not the…” umbrellas (as in “Not the Cosbys”) include “Happy Days,” “The Partridge Family,” “Gilligan’s Island,” “The Munsters” and “The Brady Bunch.”

But as they say on latenight infomercials, that’s not all! Hustler’s infatuation with TV also encompasses current reality programs, such as “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” And there are more sitcom sendups on the horizon, among them the semi-sacrilegious “Everybody Loves Lucy,” which will be available, naturally, in both black-and-white and color.

Lucy, this time you’re really gonna have some ‘splainin’ to do.

As Hustler Video Group director of operations Jeff Thill noted, porn producers have had fun for years playing off popular movie and TV titles. The twist now is going the extra mile to invest projects with better production values that actually have scripts and genuinely resemble the source material. There are stories, plots and even sex-free versions to accentuate the parody– however incongruous that might sound — on Blu-ray editions.

Sifting through the press kit, the most puzzling issue is who exactly these are supposed to be for. Although the company doesn’t have any specific demographic data, it’s difficult to imagine younger guys who never watched the originals getting much of a kick out of “Gilligan’s Island” or “Partridge Family” knockoffs, despite the availability of such fare on channels like TV Land.

Yet the allure of these parodies to somewhat older men escapes me as well. While there has been a certain mainstreaming of sex stars, heavily plotted porn is still porn, and when a facsimile of Dr. McCoy is alone with his nurse — or pseudo-Gilligan encounters Ginger and Mary Ann — let’s face it, the dialogue is pretty much killing time until the inevitable happens. Beyond cousin Marilyn, moreover, any fantasy involving “The Munsters” seems creepy and all together ooky (oh wait, that’s “The Addams Family”) in all the wrong ways.

Nevertheless, Thill says the TV-inspired titles are outselling more conventional counterparts. “It’s actually kind of revitalized the DVD market in the adult world,” he said — a genre deflated, like everything else, by the ready access of free material on the Web, so much so that Hustler’s Larry Flynt and “Girls Gone Wild” lout Joe Francis orchestrated the publicity stunt of pleading for their own federal bailout, if only to unleash “stimulus package” jokes.

Putting porn purchasers on the couch, name recognition is doubtless an element of the “This Ain’t” banner’s appeal, along with perhaps the subversive aspect of seeing fare associated with more wholesome times sexed up.

The other major question these projects invite is whether program creators have any recourse regarding something that so obviously exploits their work. Because the movies are clearly satire and stress that they are in no way connected to the originals, the answer, apparently, is not much.

According to Thill, Hustler did contact William Shatner to inquire if he would provide DVD commentary for the “Star Trek” spoof, but the actor politely declined. Maybe they’ll have better luck if they try doing “Boston Illegal” or “T.J. Hookers.”

In a best-case scenario for the distributor, Thill suggested that drawing from classic TV — especially series with cult followings such as “Star Trek,” which has inspired its own universe of elaborate fan-produced fiction, parodies and tributes — could open up porn DVDs to “a new audience that normally wouldn’t buy them.”

Either that, or maybe just an old audience willing to entertain new meanings for the phrase “Live long and prosper.”

(BOSTON, MA) — The first ”Montreal Burlesque Festival” is three months away and according to Festival Founder Scarlette James, it’s destined to become an annual hit.

”It’s a cabaret night in the spirit of the 30s 40s and 50s where ladies in the audience have as much fun as the girls on stage! Sponsors and Attendees numbers are both stellar, and we still have three months to go,” said James.

Burlesque has made a comeback over the last couple years, the volume of glam clothing and accessories currently available representing the period is just one indication of its continued growth in popularity. Entertainers such as Dita Von Teese have established highly publicized careers based on Burlesque fantasy come real.

”New Burlesque tends to put the emphasis on style and tend to be sexy rather than sexual, often involving humor. Burlesque gals perform for fun and spend lots of money on costumes, rehearsal, and props. Performers will often strip down to pasties and g-strings, said James.

“Burlesque is all about the strip tease, but more about the strip than the tease,” she added.

According to James, today’s Burlesque revival has found homes throughout the United States and Canada, the largest communities located on the East and West Coasts. New York City boasts the largest east coast community. The San Francisco Bay Area is home of the largest monthly burlesque and variety show (the Hubba Hubba Revue).

”There are Now also thriving Burlesque scenes in Canada with myself, Scarlett James and the Montreal Burlesque Festival, Monde Ose Entertainment and Team Burlesque,” she quickly pointed out.

Show sponsor www.ErosBoutique.com is exited about the show. Boston based store proprietor, Sheila Rae, says her contribution to the festival has her own customers clamoring for products that represent the era.

”Ever since we shipped our donations to Scarlette for the Montreal Burlesque festival our clients have been combing our website and store for Burlesque wear, jewelry and other accessories.

Our feather boas and fans have never sold so well, it’s like people are suddenly waking up to a whole new fantasy. I can see this being as in demand in our fantasy wear department as the standby school girl and nurse outfits,” Rae said.

Is the Boston based store benefiting from their sponsorship? ”Absolutely,” Rae said, ”Ever since we announced our sponsorship our customers have been buzzing about it. Even though the festival is across the boarder we have had many clients ask about access and transportation options,” she added.
